Martin OM-35 Inception - Dark Toasted Burst

The Martin OM-35 Inception™ Walnut is part of Martin's Inception Series and showcases a modern approach to sustainable guitar building. It combines responsibly sourced domestic tonewoods with innovative construction techniques, featuring a three-piece back made from black walnut with a flamed American white oak delta-shaped center wedge, solid black walnut sides, and an FSC®-certified European spruce top.

The guitar utilizes Skeletonized Golden Era scalloped X-bracing specifically engineered for these tonewoods. This lightweight bracing design reduces mass to improve sustain, dynamic response, and tonal development while preserving the walnut's natural warmth, clarity, and midrange presence.

Additional appointments include a black walnut neck with a GE Modified Low Oval profile, FSC®-certified ebony fingerboard with 28 Style Hex inlays, RATIO® nickel open-gear tuners, ebony bridge, bone saddle, and a Dark Toasted Burst gloss finish. Flamed American white oak binding on both the body and fingerboard completes the design.

The OM-35 Inception™ is a fully acoustic instrument with no onboard electronics and includes a molded hardshell case. Designed to explore new sounds through sustainable materials and purposeful innovation, it represents Martin's forward-looking approach to acoustic guitar craftsmanship.
