Epiphone Inspired By Gibson Custom 1957 Les Paul Goldtop Reissue - Double Gold

1957 marked the moment the Les Paul™ became the guitar we know and love today. It was the first full production year to feature Patent Applied For humbucking pickups, a revolutionary change that—alongside the ABR-1 Tune-O-Matic bridge and Stop Bar tailpiece—set the gold standard for electric guitar performance.

Now, in collaboration with Gibson Custom, Epiphone presents the 1957 Les Paul Goldtop Reissue, a meticulously crafted Inspired by Gibson Custom model. This stunning instrument combines vintage aesthetics, premium specs, and outstanding performance—at a much more accessible price.

The guitar features a genuine mahogany body with a carved plain maple cap, finished in a Vintage Gloss Double Gold that offers a subtle aged look. The one-piece mahogany neck has a 50s Rounded Medium C profile and long neck tenon, enhancing both feel and sustain. A bound rosewood fretboard hosts mother-of-pearl trapezoid inlays and 22 medium jumbo frets. Vintage-correct side dot markers, an aged Epiphone headstock logo, and a gold “Les Paul Model” silkscreen complete the classic look.

The hardware is nickel-plated and includes an ABR-1 bridge, Historic aluminum Stop Bar tailpiece, and Epiphone Deluxe "Single Ring" Keystone tuners. Electronics feature USA-made Gibson Custombucker pickups with Alnico 3 magnets, hand-wired with CTS® pots, Luxe Bumblebee paper-in-oil capacitors, and Switchcraft® toggle and jack.

It ships in a brown hardshell case with pink plush lining and Inspired by Gibson Custom graphics.
