Yes, students should bring their own violin, brass, or woodwind instrument to lessons. If you need help choosing or renting an instrument, we're happy to point you in the right direction.

Violin can be started as young as age 4-5 with a properly sized instrument. Brass and woodwind instruments are typically best started around age 8-10, depending on physical development. We're happy to discuss your child's readiness.

We offer three lesson options: 30 minutes ($45), 45 minutes ($68), or 60 minutes ($90). No registration fees. Choose the duration that best fits your goals.

Darryl teaches a wide range of brass instruments (trumpet, trombone, French horn, tuba) and woodwinds (saxophone, clarinet, flute, and more). Contact us to confirm availability for your specific instrument.

Absolutely. Both of our instructors have extensive experience preparing students for school ensembles, chair auditions, and performances. Private lessons are a great complement to school music programs.
