The Les Paul Standard 50s Double Trouble builds on the classic Les Paul Standard 50s platform but adds even more vintage flair. Two key differences set it apart:

1. The Burstbucker 1 and 2 pickups are uncovered and feature Double Classic White bobbins loaded with Alnico 2 magnets.

2. The finish is a Vintage version of Gibson’s standard gloss nitrocellulose lacquer, mimicking years of natural aging with slightly faded hues. Each burst is individually hand-sprayed, making every piece unique.

You still get everything that makes the Les Paul 50s great: a non-weight-relieved mahogany body, AA figured maple top, vintage 50s rounded neck profile, and hand-wired Orange Drop electronics. Production is limited to 500 guitars per finish, making this a true collector’s piece with timeless playability.
