The Epiphone Joan Jett Olympic Special electric is based on the longtime favorite stage guitar of the legendary rock musician herself. A member of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, Joan Jetts artistic vision and pioneering spirit have inspired countless musicians of all ages worldwide!
The Joan Jett Olympic Special is a lightweight, stage-ready powerhouse with all the essentials you need for unstoppable rock tone. It features a mahogany body and mahogany neck in a custom Olympic Special profile, topped with an Indian laurel fingerboard with 22 frets and dot inlays.
Its sound is driven by a single Power-Hammer PRO humbucker wired to a single CTS volume potentiometer, with a Speed-style volume knob and on/off toggle switch for kill switch functionality. The adjustable wraparound bridge/tailpiece delivers full intonation adjustability, and is anchored solidly to the body for rich sustain. Die-cast tuners and a Graph-Tech nut anchor down the strings at the other end, and a reproduction of Joans signature is located on the rear of the classic Olympic Special headstock.
