1990s Takamine EG-334SC - Natural

The Takamine EG-334SC is a G Series acoustic-electric dreadnought produced from approximately 1994 through 2008. It features a solid spruce top paired with ovangkol back and sides, offering a balanced tone with clear highs, warm mids, and strong low-end projection. The single rounded cutaway provides easy access to the upper frets while maintaining the classic dreadnought sound.

The mahogany neck is fitted with a rosewood fingerboard featuring mother-of-pearl dot inlays and 20 frets. Cosmetic appointments include white body binding, a black pickguard, gold hardware, and a natural gloss finish.

Electronics include Takamine's Crystal under-saddle pickup system paired with either the earlier N4B preamp or the later TK40 four-band EQ, depending on the production year. These electronics helped make the EG-334SC a popular stage guitar thanks to Takamine's reliable amplified sound.
